Energy certificate
Since last June 1, 2013, entered into force a new law requiring all owners who want to rent or sell their property to have an energy certificate.
¿What is an energy certificate?
It is a report issued by an approved technician in order to rate the energy expenditure required for each dwelling. Is punctuated with letters ranging from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), equal to the labels with appliances.
¿Who is required to do?
All people who want to rent or sell a property (apartments, houses, local).
¿When do i have to do it?
At the same time it was decided to market a property, and its validity is 10 years.
¿What it is for?
- To the owners, so they know who has the energy expenditure and how to reduce it to improve rating.
- A renters or buyers to compare consumption with other properties.
Penalties for not having it in order start from 300 € to 6000 €.
¿How I can process it?
